There has not been a dull moment in the past two weeks! Saturday, August 4th was the day all of the sophomores got to move into the Kappa house. That Sunday marked the beginning of Work Week. Each day, girls dressed up to participate in the theme of the day. Monday was Decade Day, Tuesday was the ever-so-popular Pledge Class Outfit Competition, Wednesday was America Day, Mizzou Day was on Thursday, and Friday was Kappa day. This week really bonded us all closer together before we got to talk to the wonderful women going through Recruitment. Monday, August 13th was the first day of Recruitment. This year, there were around 1,600 girls going through Recruitment! Monday was jam packed with eleven socials, and Tuesday had another nine totaling 20 socials just for the first two days! Wednesday was Sisterhood Day...everyone's favorite! Just like in years past, we put on the Miss Kappa Kappa Gamma Pageant as our skit. On Thursday, we introduced our Philanthropy to the girls and showed off our beautiful home. The week came to a close on Friday, Preference Day.
