Bid Day

Saturday, August 18th was the best day of the year...Bid Day!! After a FABULOUS recruitment thanks to our wonderful leaders, Jess W. and Lisa D., we were ready to kick back and enjoy ourselves! We welcomed 88 new sisters into the Kappa community! This year, the theme was "Kappa Karnival". Lilli R. did a superb job of planning the festivities that went along with the theme. Once the girls opened their bids, they ran back to Kappa for an afternoon of BBQ, dancing, and pictures. Later on in the evening the true Karnival began. Thanks to Page D., a Columbia local, we were able to host the shenanigans at her home. There was candy, potato sack races, refreshments, a photo shoot area, cotton candy, a dunk booth, a bounce house, and best of all...HOT AIR BALLOONS! The pictures below show some of the night's highlights. Props to Lilli R. and all of her hard work for such a fun filled Bid Day!! And thank you again to Page D. and her family for having us all to their lovely home!!
