This semester, Kappa hosted our first annual "Signature Event Day," benefiting our local Boys and Girls Club (see post below). We also spent time every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at the Boys and Girls Club every week this semester. For our efforts, we won the philanthropy "Awareness Award" at Greek Honors Night.
This semester Kappa participated in Delta Sigma Phi's "Delta Sigma Slide" philanthropy, benefiting the March of Dimes (pictured above). We placed first in Service, Queen Candidate, Money Vote, Canning and Overall!!! Also, we won third place in Sigma Chi's philanthropy, "Sigma Chi Derby Days."
