This is where our new website comes in. After months of reworking layouts, choosing the perfect song to have play when you first visit the site (check out our site to see what song we settled on!), and countless hours of searching for the best pictures to feature, our site is finally up and running! Our new website contains countless new features that detail what Mizzou Kappa is all about.
When first visiting our site, you will see our "Home" screen which includes a slideshow that provides a glimpse at the lives of the beautiful women of Kappa Kappa Gamma. Make sure to have your sound turned up when visiting our page because (SPOILER ALERT) you'll instantly hear the song "Back Home" by Andy Grammer. We chose this song because it's happy, fun and it perfectly represents what each and every one of us feels whenever we are with our sisters or step into 512 E. Rollins.
Once you've flipped through a few of our pictures, you're sure to want to know more about the women of Kappa. Wondering what that weird symbol is on our flag? Check out the "About Us" page to learn all of the basics of Kappa Kappa Gamma.
If you're interested in learning more about Theta Chapter, click on the "History" tab to find out even more about our chapter. Here, you will also see a few more pictures of some of our outstanding members, and our chapter accomplishments. Did you know we were the first sorority at The University of Missouri? Once you check out our site you'll know that and so much more!
For those of you interested in participating in Formal Recruitment this fall, be sure to stop by the "Recruitment" page to learn a little bit more about the recruitment process, recruitment dates, requirements and recommendation letter information. If you still have questions after visiting this page, feel free to shoot us a quick message under the "Contact" tab -- we will be sure to get back to you as soon as possible!
As you can see by viewing the "Recruitment" page, recruitment is full of fun days, meeting new people and most importantly finding the perfect place for you to call home during your time at Mizzou. For the many women of our chapter, Kappa has become home. To get a feel of what Kappa is all about, and why we all love it, continue to check out our site by clicking under the "In Action" tab. Here, you will be able to learn more about some of the most important parts of sorority life here at Mizzou. Click the "Socials" page to learn more about the many socials we have each year. These are fun events in which we bond with our sisters, friends and other chapters. Oh, and take LOTS of pictures.
While our socials are always fun to look forward to, the women of Kappa Kappa Gamma have many other annual events to get excited about. Some of these events include The Kappa Klassic, Homecoming and Greek Week. Check out the "Philanthropy" page to learn all about The Kappa Klassic, our annual golf tournament, and our three beneficiaries. Under the "Greek Relations" tab, learn about our involvement in Homecoming, and Greek Week. These events are just another great way to bond with sisters, help the community and achieve goals. The women of Kappa Kappa Gamma take each of these events seriously as we raised $44,500 at the Klassic last year, placed 2nd in Homecoming and 1st in Greek Week (for the third year in a row!)
At Kappa, we put our all into all aspects of university life. Most importantly, Kappa Kappa Gamma places very high importance on academics and scholarship. To learn more about our academic excellence, scholarship opportunities and our achievements, check out the "Scholarship" tab.
After you've gotten the chance to get a feel for what Kappa at Mizzou is all about, make sure to take a closer look at how our chapter is run by checking out the "Chapter Council" page. Here, you will get an idea of what leadership positions are available in our chapter and see what goes into keeping up Theta Chapter.
If you still want to learn more about Kappa, check out the "Social" tab to be able to check out our other social media platforms, a photo album, and videos featuring the women of Kappa Kappa Gamma.
