On Saturday, September 11, Kappas participated in a Service Day at Cedar Creek Therapeutic Riding Center. The girls and members of Fraternities participating in the Kappa Klassic Philanthropy worked all morning mulching trails for horses. The owner
was so grateful for all their help!
Cedar Creek Therapeutic Riding Center is Theta Chapter’s new local beneficiary. As described on their website (http://cedarcreek.missouri.org/ Cedar Creek) is a non-profit agency that provides therapy to more than 100 riders with special needs.
All the proceeds of the Kappa Klassic will go towards Cedar Creek and ultimately provide scholarships so that the center can accept more riders! Kappas are looking forward to volunteering more at Cedar Creek in the coming year.
