At the Spring Scholarship Dinner, Kappas were honored for their astounding academic performance last semester. With an overall Chapter GPA of 3.329, Kappa earned the 3rd highest GPA out of 14 other sororities on campus. Many girls were recognized for their accomplishments and given special treats for all their hard work.
22 girls earned a 4.0 GPA and were given gift cards to local businesses. Those who earned a 4.0 GPA for two consecutive semesters were given a pearl for their Kappa badge!
In addition, a Theta Chapter alumna presented a sophomore with the first ever Koller Scholarship. The Koller Scholarship was established in memory of Hortense Peetse Koller, a member of the Theta Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma initiated in 1933. The award is for Theta chapter women only and it is based on outstanding leadership and excellence.
Congratulations! We are so proud of all our Kappas for all their hard work, keep it up!
