KKG Thinks Reading Is Key

This past Friday, Mizzou Kappas hosted their first annual Signature Event for the Columbia Boys and Girls Club, our local philanthropy. The theme this year was "KKG Thinks Reading Is Key."

Some of the activities include: reading an age-appropriate book and doing a related craft, taking a book home and having a snack. We were thrilled that it was so successful!

Kindergartners and first-graders read Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister and then colored their own rainbow fish! The second-graders and third-graders read Anansi and the Talking Melon by Eric A. Kimmel. The fourth-graders and fifth-graders read Wilma Unlimited by Kathleen Krull.
